We strive

We strive to be a friend to Civil society Organisations( also known as NGOs, non profit organisations) . We hope to promote giving from individuals, which will in turn increase accountability of CSOs to a more diverse population.

We believe

We believe in the Social Sector as a vital element in building a humane society. Our mission is to enhance the quality and impact of services provided by the social sector. We will do this by collaborating with individuals and organisations who share our goals and vision.

Our Beginning

In the year 2000, a few passionate individuals in Bengaluru came together with a simple idea – to support, encourage, and promote CSOs. The intent was to enable training, provide opportunities to raise funds, and connect them to individuals and organisations, who wanted to engage with civil society organisations

Meena Dave

CEO

Meena, before joining India Cares in 2010, worked with Give India in their Payroll Giving team from 2006 to 2010; and before that with Support Direct in their marketing department. Meena has a Management educational qualification.

Aysha Sreekanth

Head, CSO Relations

Aysha has 15 years of experience working with CSOs on databases, communications strategy and fundraising support. She is with India Cares heading the ReachOut programme since 2016.

Dhanush TR

Head- Concept & Design

With an avid interest in the Social Sector, Dhanush heads the Concepts and design of India Cares Foundation. With a creative background as a photographer, Dhanush works towards capturing and designing images and creatives that portray the services provided by the ICFN and that of its partners. Dhanush holds a Diploma in Animation and Film Making.

Saurav Kumar

Accounts & Finance Manager

Saurav has completed his graduation from accounts honors and hands free knowledge in finance and accounts.

Sashikala Murali

CSO Relations Manager

Sashikala Murali has 18+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has held various positions of Administrator, Programme Head & Pan India Resources Mobilization Manager in domains like Mental health, Disability and Eye care respectively. Young at heart and rich in experience Sashikala Murali holds a Master’s degree in Marketing.

Oli Bhadra

Regional, Co-ordinator

Oli is passionate about social work. She started volunteering in the social sector through theater. She wanted to convert her passion to her profession. Now she works with India Cares Foundation. She believes in the philosophy ‘empathy & hard work can uplift society’. She holds a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Shruthi KR

Associate - Programmes

Shruthi holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and worked as Medical Transcriptionist before. With the passion to serve the society and people she changed her field of work and is happy about it.

Manoj Kumar KY

Associate - Finance and Operations

Manoj has a good knowledge in account and finance with process journal entries and perform corrections to ensure accurate records. The accounting duties involves preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling complex financial transactions, statements and records. Manoj holds a Diploma in Computer Science.
